"Potato" rough cut no.1

This is the first rough cut of my A-Level media film "Potato" which centres around the discussion of two strangers discussing racism, homophobia and a bit of politics. Considering that it's only the first rough cut, I think we did very well. The actresses did a good job with their roles, the setting suited my mood and I think it turned out really well.

Strengths
  - This is a good first attempt of the film, despite how rough and basic it looks so far.
  -

Weaknesses
  - Although I think that the actresses did a good job playing their roles, I also think they didn't put enough emphasis on some of the dialogue which does take away from the feel I wanted this film to have.
  - I think that this film is lacking in the impact and thought provoking nature I thought it'd have on people which means that it may still be a good short film, but doesn't actually serve it's purpose of making the audience think deeply about the topics raised. Whether this is because the film is just too short to make that sort of impact, the camera shots and soundtrack (which will be inputed) isn't good enough or the characters aren't as convincing as I thought they'd be, or the more likely reason being that the dialogue just isn't right, I'm not sure. It's an issue I'd love to fix because it's the whole purpose of the film and the reason I so desperately wanted to make this film..

Things I'd/I'm going to change/opportunities
  - Some of the colouring doesn't look right in some ofthe scenes and especially for the tone that I want the film to have
